It’s nice to meet you! My name is Nora, and I’m a versatile multi-hyphenate creative who is passionate about building community relationships through collaborative and innovative means. My love of film brought me to Los Angeles in 2020, where I quickly carved a unique and instrumental path in the theater circuit. There, I helped to produce world class events while concurrently using my creative talents to write copy and criticism. My written work has been published and featured in various print publications and film releases, including Arrow Video and Layered Butter, and I additionally self publish my poetry and prose on my Substack. I am at my best when fully immersed, and thrive in the company of others, finding inspiration, camaraderie, and connection wherever possible. All of the amazing relationships I have cultivated in the local community were, in turn, instrumental and invaluable; following me when I took a new and exciting position with Custom Ink and allowing me to leverage my network in order to open and grow the company’s first flagship in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area (even in the face of widespread economic hardship).
Through event activations, field engagement, and community efforts, I routinely exceeded my goals and set a precedent for the company. I made “Inker” history by being the first market to establish a partnership with LA Pride — something that remains one of my proudest achievements as a queer individual. I continue to regularly involve myself with various nonprofits through volunteering, as I strive to give back to my amazing community however possible.
